In his continued response to Eliphaz' allegations; Job, not only did he: (i) Express his bitter anguish (6v1 – 7) (ii) Yearn for death and defended his own integrity (8–13). (iii) the pain of isolation (24 – 30). Job progressed in the 7 th chapter, directing his complaint toward God. Thus (iv) Job's Struggle with mortality (1 – 10), and in his (a) Depression (1 – 6), (b) Despair and (c) faced reality with human frailty, he in the fifth place (v) Job's Cry to God (11 – 21), offering an honest prayer in the face of pain, with a series of questions. These questions, in contrast to his friends, God is found to be faithful. Oh how rewarding and comforting this would be, if and hardships are permitted by the providential hand of God to come upon us, we would be still, knowing that this is the Lord's doing.
