There are some things that we may consider are worth making a noise about. But with so much to tell about the Lord Jesus, His great works, the significance of His death and resurrection, and the fact that no-one like Him had lived before, or since: why is it that we are so often silent in being willing, or able, to speak out, and witness to the wonder and glory of such a special and remarkable person?
Is one reason that we may sometimes be embarassed; giving in to those unsaved people of the world, who want us to be quiet and not speak of Jesus at all?
If we are converted, then surely we have something to say. Why - didn't Jesus Himself say, that if His disciples "should hold their peace", even "the stones would immediately cry out." Therefore may we not be guilty of keeping silent when we have such glorious news to declare.
What is Jesus doing in your life, do you have anything to say?
