The Resurrection of Christ is the sine qua non of Christianity -- the "without which, nothing". If Christ is not raised, the dead are not raised. We are not justified. We are not born again. We are still in our sins. There is no heaven for us. We should simply eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow the best life we'll ever know could be over.
Fortunately, and praise be to God, Christ is risen! And so we do have a solid hope in Him.
