We are living in a day in which we as Christians are bombarded with bad news, wars and rumors of wars, and an increasingly evil federal leviathan headquartered in Washington D.C. that has destroyed our once Biblical money system, brought us to the brink of total economic collapse, and seems literally hell-bent on destruction of the rule of de-jure law via the US Constitution and replacing freedom with communist fascism. The health care bill recently passed by Congress is a huge step pushing the world toward ultimate implemention of the mark of the beast of Revelation 13. How are we as Christians to respond these things? While some advocate retreat and reclusivism, some political activism, and others armed insurrection, our mission and our mandate as the Lord's church has not changed, we are not to go into hiding, and we are promised ultimate victory! Paul's message in 1 Cor. 16:13 is clear: "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."
