It was He that surrendered His Son up to die on the cross, so that sin's penalty could be paid, and that His love for His people would be thus satisfied. Human justice alone therefore had no answer to our plight, but God is just, and we can truly declare that love, God's love, made salvation happen for you, me, and all those who would believe upon Him, through the death and subsequent resurrection of the sinless, perfect Son of God.
