In this Sunday School lesson, as we study Gal. 3:29-4:7, we look at how to become an heir of God, and what it means to be biblically adopted. First, we provide an understanding of the illustration of vss. 1-2, and we define the adoption found in vs. 5. Then, we praise God for the work that the Lord Jesus Christ did to make us God's heirs of adoption in vss. 3-5. Then, we provide an explanation of the bondage of vs. 3. Finally, we rejoice in the redemption, and the resulting adoption of the inheritance, that is given to us through Christ. |
