In spite of her sin the Nation of Israel would still see the glory of God. The Abrahamic Covenant promised that the children of Abraham would be as numerous as the sand on the sea shore. This Covenant is still in effect today. Though Israel is currently “on the shelf,” the Lord will be coming, and granting the promises of Abraham. As the church, we partake in the covenant promises, and look for a “new heaven and new earth.”
