Chapter 13 is an expansion of the ideas communicated in the closing illustrations our Lord gave in Luke 12:54-59. This is a most serious consideration for everyone who will believe the truth concerning Christ's work of redemption for Israel and for the rest of the world. For this to come to the full Israel must be set aside. The glory of the Lord must depart from the nation for a time, and that time is until the latter day.
