Sad to see Hank Hanegraaff deceived by the errors of the Orthodox Church (which holds many soul-destroying errors in common with the Roman Catholic Church - such as the Mass, Transubstantiation, Synergistic view of salvation, Tradition as a equal authority as Scripture, and prayers for the dead. A key phase in his statement is “while truth matters, life matters more”. It sounds nice but in essence it exalts experience above absolute truth.
Additionally, their doctrine of Theosis is heretical. It is a doctrine that teaches the deification of man (i.e. they teach that Salvation is ultimately Man becoming God).
