If Jesus had not risen from the grave His death would have been in vain. When we come and ask for forgiveness for our sins we receive that Comforter that Jesus said He would send. It's our fault if we feel empty. It's up to us if live for the Lord. We can't make those around us live for the Lord but the Lord says He'll give us the desires of our hearts.
