Acts chapter 3 and verse one is a seemingly insignificant text. It is far more than simply a part of the history. It shows us something very important about the heart attitudes of Peter and John. These men had just come from a time of great and powerful usefulness and they did not treat lightly the commonplace responsibility to gather for corporate prayer. If we would see the great things of God working then we must be faithful in the day in and day out 'little things'. They received much because they asked much and asked consistently.
