How do we beautify the Gospel? Slavery came in many forms during Gospel times & even though it wasn't a God ordained position in life, Paul still addressed it. Work is a God ordained position in life and it's a way to beautifully ordain the Gospel. I. Beautify the Gospel by Willingly Submitting to Authority. (A.) Willingly submit - this means to anyone in authority over you regardless if you like them or not. (B.) In everything (righteous). *God is our highest authority & He takes priority over any requirement from earthly authorities that ask us to violate God's law. *Our work & submission beautifies the Gospel, it backs our testimony up. II. Beautify the Gospel by Building Redemptive Relationships. (A.) Don't be argumentative or always trying to prove a point. (B.) Be well-pleasing. *Always try and go the extra mile because it pleases God. (C.) Try and build a relationship with those in authority to bring them to Christ. III. Beautify the Gospel by Having High Ethical Standards. (A.) Don't steal (big or small). *This can be time, money, equipment etc. (B.) Demonstrate trustworthiness. *It will demonstrate the Gospel's change in your life. *God desires your work to beautify the Gospel.
