God does not need people with great abilities or great wisdom in order to accomplish great things on earth. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 that God chooses the foolish things through which to display His wisdom, the weak things through which to demonstrate His power, the common things through which to do great wonders. God does not need people with great ability. He only needs broken and unqualified people who are willing to be used as simple tools in the hands of the Master. And when God uses that which the world despises, He is the one who receives the glory, destroying the wisdom and might of the world in the process.
