Phil. 1:1-6 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: 2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 ¶ I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Great Sermon! Excellent title for the sermon. Glorious Truth! I was there that day when Henry came to preach and Tom was with him. I am so thankful to God for giving Doug the desire to see the truth of God's grace to have a witness there in Pike County. Such a glorious thing! And I am thankful to Henry for eagerly desiring to take the opportunity to see the Truth of God's grace taught there. I am thankful for Gary Shepherd and Jim Byrd who both were faithful pastors to us there for a time. And I am thankful for Tom. Tom has been an amazing blessing for the church at Zebulon and has himself seen to it that others in other areas are blessed with a witness in there communities. I hope I get the opportunity to return at least for a visit someday, but for now I have a calling of my own. I pray the church in Zebulon continues to grow and to spread the Word. The two great commandments are to love the Lord with everything you have and to love others as you love yourself. There is not a better way of showing love for God and man then spreading the Word.
