Those walls of Jericho didn't fall because of man's genius. By faith in God for those seven days they compassed the city. They went around and around by faith. Don't bother praying and acting upon something if you don't believe it will happen, these people did believe. Belief is the most important element in prayer. When it came time for the attack on Jericho orders were issued. Not by just any ole' body but by the captain of the host of the Lord. Instructions that come from God can be trusted and should be faithfully followed. Had the Israelites just walked around with no faith no victory would have come. Often times we just go through the motions and wonder why nothing changed. faith in God and His word is required. What we believe will be turned in true action. The people had so much faith in God that they shouted even before the wall fell. When was the last time we shouted before the results were seen? It could be that the answers we are looking for are waiting for our faith to catch up. Then and only then can the walls come down.
