This lesson was born out of a series of conversations with Jehovah's Witnesses. They believe in annihilationism, and that Hell is not a literal place, but just the grave.
This lesson centers on Ben Hinnom in the Old Testament and Gehenna in the New Testament and upholds the position that Hell is a literal place of eternal punishment for the lost.

Great Sermon! The premise of this message is, "A Distorted view of hell helps support a distorted view of Christ." This sermon is very helpful especially if you ever encounter a J.W.

Great Sermon! I like the speakers premise, "A distorted view of hell will help support a distorted view of Christ." This sermon is excellent, especially if you try to speak the truth in love to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Great Sermon! It's funny how people think that they can just make up what they want about hell and the grave or just believe what someone told them, I did, I believed what others told me about death and hell. It reminds me of Psalm 73:18-20 where it says "Surely You set them in slippery places; you cast them down to destruction. Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awakes, so, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image." What a shock to slip and wake up in hell. Prasie and thanksgiving to God for His word, so that we are not left to our imaginations. Praise and thanksgiving to God for His mercy and grace to sinners.

Great Sermon! I learned a lot from this sermon, I would like to listen to it again and get it down so I can give a biblical answer on hell if I ever need to.
