Isaiah 24-27:1 offers some of the most profound insights into faith, life, death, and resurrection in all of God's word. It is no wonder that when the Apostle Paul thinks on these matters in Romans 8 and 1 Corinthians 15 that he turns to Isaiah! This is an Easter sermon, it is an evangelistic sermon in the sense that it is a calling to faith for both the unbeliever and the believer. And it is an encouragement for all people to consider Christ's resurrection as the first fruits of their own. This is an important message for anyone who needs more of the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact I don't know of anything more important that a person can hear. May God bless the hearing of his word.
