There are many obvious temptations and dangers which threaten to draw us away from Christ. We are clearly told to resist and flee such things. But often it is more subtle, and sometimes even seemingly positive, hazards which steer us off course. The warning and instruction we hear from Paul this week is not to let anyone judge or disqualify us, but to hold fast to Christ. Any nourishment, unity and growth we need comes graciously from him, and we should turn to no-one and nothing else for these.
