He shows us that Christ is our life and our glorious destiny. Focusing on things above is the way to overcome the things of this earth. It involves a deliberate and continuing process of putting on everything that belongs to our new self in Christ and a relentless killing off anything that belongs to our old life. As we daily 'put off' and 'put on' we show in the way we live the truth and power of being united to Christ. Here is the power to change. Here is the way to be God's holy and beloved people.
