Who is all Israel? Who we are is about allegiance, not ethnicity. God’s salvation is not based on ethnicity, unless we share the faith of Abraham. Not all Israel is Israel. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. All Christians are saints and the saints must persevere. If we do not preserve in faith, 1 John 2:19 is true for us. Those who don’t continue in the faith were not and are not saved. In Matthew 7, Jesus says “Depart from Me. I never knew you.” He did not say “Depart from Me, you lost your salvation.” Some people only want forgiveness and not salvation. If our goal is to get God to give us want we want, then we are not saved. The person who thinks we can get to Heaven and does not want to see or be with God, they are not saved and are not Christians. All of the Gentiles that God has said will be saved, will be saved. Salvation is not just about forgiveness but about oneness with Him. If we are trusting in ourselves and not in God’s mercy alone, we are not saved. We must cry out to God for mercy, not to do our will, but to do His will. If we think we can add anything to what Jesus has done for us, then we are not going to heaven. Jesus saves us because He loves us. And we love Him because He first loved us. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
