Wow, what a tragedy. What a tragic end, to what could've been greatness. Simply because the little boy, who was hidden away from his grandmother, never grew up. And he was always manipulate or mislead, by those who he submitted his authority to. Whether that be Jehoiada, or the corrupt leaders over the nation. You see the leaders of Judah, at the time, allowed Jehoiada to have his way, as long as he had ear of the king. But soon as the priest dies, they take advantage of the opportunity, and roll right on in. I want to tell you, this old enemy of ours will wait a long long time, to get you. That's all he's got, he knows his time is short, but time is all he's got. He knows this old world ain't his.
