Those Lone Voices
Ever since...
No less than 6 times it is said that Caleb wholly or wholeheartedly followed the Lord (Numbers 14:24; Numbers 32:12; Deuteronomy 1:36; Joshua 14:8,9,14)
Ever since moments... a landmark time when God spoke His word over you and you trusted Him, believing His commitment to you. Having heard, trusted, and believed, you embraced the wait, however long it would take, joyfully expecting Him to fulfill His promise.
Think about it: I John's day the most important voice of the day was not the political and presidential or priestly voices but the voice of one man in a remote area preparing men for Jesus. Among the men of that day… like Jeremiah who was lifted above. One chosen, known, set apart, and used to proclaim His life-transforming message.
Luke 3:1; Matthew 3; John 1
One voice — ALONE — in a cruel and wicked world — yet — John was never alone, for God was with him.
The LIFE of ONE — When You Have Only the Lord to trust, treasure, and follow.
Servants in the past — like — Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sara, Joseph, Moses, Caleb, and Jeremiah — all walked with God when they were all alone.
Isaiah 51; Psalm 147:19; Deuteronomy 32; Joshua 14; Jeremiah 1
One with God is always a majority. Why? He's always and forever the MAJORITY
When God grants you the insight and ability to see things others can't see… it's a blessing, but the blessing comes with a burden. The insights come for influence… and solutions for the problems you see. (Jeremiah 6:27-30; Jeremiah 1:10).
