I. To Harold Camping there are two categories of unbelievers. A. Those that are not Christians – saved by grace. B. Those who deny the Lord is coming on May 21, 2011 And to him there are two ways to deny this “truth”. 1. By saying it isn't true – like I am doing tonight. 2. and by staying in a church. If you are part of a church on May 21, 2011, you can not be saved. C. Why would I even spend time on a guy like this?
II. Three True Principles of Biblical Prophecy
A. Realize Prophecy often contains the Literal and the Allegorical. Psalm 22
B. Prophecy cannot be fully and perfectly understood until it is fulfilled. 2 Peter 3:10-14
C. When interpreting prophecy – always go from the familiar to the unfamiliar – from the easy to understand to the difficult – from the plain to the allegorical
III. Why Harold Camping is Wrong – Again. 1. He wouldn't admit he was wrong the first time 2. Once again he has fallen into the error of “date setting” 3. He has an improper hermeneutic 4. He left the safety of the local church and became his own “expert”. 5. He fits the stereotype the media loves of “the wacky fundamentalist”. 6. Harold Camping is wrong on the PURPOSE of PROPHECY. He thinks the Bible is a book of riddles to help us tell the future. He thinks it is HIS job to explain to us the things that Bible scholars of the past could never figure out. 7. Harold Camping is wrong about salvation

Excellent! Please send this message to anyone you know who thinks the rapture is this Saturday. How sad it is that many have been deceived by this false prophet. He already proved himself to be wrong yet many are believing what he teaches. This is an excellent message to comfort God's people who might be mislead.

Great Sermon! How could anyone believe what Camping is preaching? How scary that a man who was so right on could go so wrong? Pastor Steve gives three simple principles of prophecy that are excellent, using Psalm 22 and 1 Peter 3:10! I hope you get the time to hear this, false prophets should be exposed and a good pastor will always alert God's people to such. Thank you Pastor Steve.
