“...For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call” (Acts 2:38-39).
Glory in the highest... to Him who conquers my rebellion and resistance and replaces it with His presence and peace. Who graciously replaces my haughty spirit with His humble presence and causes my lips to declare His peace and praise. Yes, He who REDEEMS me and REMOVES my sin and REPLACES it with truth and mercy and RENEWS me with the sweet kiss of His righteousness and peace. Glory... that will make you want to shout! Hallelujah!!! (Isaiah 57:17-19 ; Micah 7:18-20 ; Psalm 85:10)
Regardless of me... (testifying) and my resistance to Him and His grace, He nor His grace was threatened by me or my rebellion or how far removed I was from His ways, and He lovingly spoke peace in my spirit, when there was none, and caused my heart and lips and life to glorify Him and His grace.
The result of peace and the lips of its praise, in those NEAR to God (57:15) and those FAR from Him (57:17) is and will forever be the work of God and His redeeming grace (57:18-19). As, when He spoke light in the beginning, He looks beyond their acts and speaks peace peace in the hearts of those who are far from Him and His ways, and conquers their iniquity with life, love and adoration. Glory...
I see such a beautiful parallel in Isaiah 57:17-19 and Micah 7:18-20 and Psalm 85:10.
He says “I have seen his ways (which are far from Me and my ways, and I will heal him and restore comforts to him, and to his mourners (those he’s hurt and who have been burdened and crying out to the Lord over his condition and works of iniquity.) Glory... now that will preach
