The word of God is sweet and it's bitter. We have a message of joy and salvation to proclaim. But it's proclaimed in the midst of a message that is bitter. I must begin this message with declaring to men that they are lost and without hope, they are living under the judgment of God, destined to bear the full brunt of the wrath of God. I'm amazed how much of the bitterness is emphasized. I would like to remove some of the bitterness. But we've been entrusted with a message that is both sweet and bitter and we better proclaim it as we've been given it. Whether people listen or not. The test that we will be measured by, is….. Were we faithful with the message, sweet and bitter.
