1. The first reason is the absolute sovereignty of God. God is the Creator. Man is a creature.
2. The second thing Solomon tells us in the text is that there is a reason why only man is haunted by this frustration. The horses and cattle do not have this frustration. Why is man the only creature that feels that his existence is meaningless? 3. Third, Solomon saw what God wants us to do. We should be happy with the work we have to do, for this is what God has given us.
