Christ explains the Scriptures. Jesus explains to the two disciples on the Emmaus road the prophecies concerning the suffering, death and resurrection of the Messiah. When they understand the Scriptures and are ready to understand the events happened the last days, there are ready to the disclosure of Christ before their eyes.
