He left their region but not without first sending an ambassador of the kingdom to proclaim the power of God. Has God touched your area of comfort and convenient living and you have asked Him to leave? This is a classic example many today... spiritually attracted but not a submitted ambassador.
We can easily get caught up with the flaws and cracks of how men do things or don't do things and lose sight on our real mission of becoming fishers of men.
The point is that we can let things get in our way from the simple message that Christ gave us... "Follow Me, and I use everything in your life to make you a fishers of men." And if we're stumbling over what nitpicking and imperfect men do (in the church or outside the church) and lose sight of following Jesus, we'll also lose sight of being a soul-winner with Him. We'll fail to serve and deliver those we're with! Stay the course my friends... let's focus on what's important like, "Follow Me... and I'll make you fishers of men." ~ Jesus
