In this sermon we will examine the idea that Christ had to suffer in order to be perfected (although obviously he was born perfect and was perfect before that) to be the captain, author, or the founder of the redemption of many. We then look at passages in Mark that provide ideas of how this suffering was orchestrated by God the Father. Finally, the text shows how all this makes Jesus the Ultimate Savior in the manner in which he can help us when we are tempted.
