The Coup de Grâce
He's everything to all things...
All things - worth anything - comes FROM Him, can't be received or done except THROUGH Him and should be faithfully, intentionally and purposely accomplished FOR Him. (Romans 11:36)
"Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, "Behold, this Child (Jesus) is destined (set/singled out) FOR the fall and rising of many in Israel, and FOR a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), THAT the VIEWS, UNDERSTANDING, INTERESTS and INTENTION of many hearts may be revealed." Luke 2:34-35
What is the urgency of the message? It's hearing, heeding and honoring the message and testimony of Jesus.
Moses said it like this: "The Lord your God will raise up FOR YOU a Prophet [speaking of Jesus] like me from your brethren, Him [Jesus] you shall hear in ALL things, WHATEVER He says to you" (Acts 3:22).
What's the cost for a person that does NOT give their FULL attention, affection and adoration to hear, heed and honor the word of Jesus?
"And, it shall be that EVERY soul who will NOT hear Jesus will be utterly destroyed from among the people [that do hear Him]" (Acts 3:23).
There's NO salvation in any other, for there is NO other name under heaven, given among men, by which we MUST be saved. There is ONLY one name given unto men to hear, heed and honor. And if ANYONE is not hearing, living and proclaiming His message... they will perish and be destroyed without Him and His grace. (Acts 4:11-12)
Everything, worth anything, hinges on what a person sees, seeks and submits to Jesus.
