Practically the entire Middle East is in civil turmoil. Revolution is spreading across Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, Yemen, and Wisconsin. The problem of course with revolution is that it never improves the state of the people. Since the French Revolution, humanist democracies have sought an improvement in society through this means. But should Christians ever participate in revolutions? What about labor strikes? Kevin Swanson takes a biblical perspective towards this important social issue.

Great Program! I think the key to understanding this program is in this statement: "The problem of course with revolution is that it never improves the state of the people. Since the French Revolution, humanist democracies have sought an improvement in society through this means." If they (the people of the nations) aren't turning to the true and living God of the Bible, their future gov't won't really be any more liberating than the one they are rebelling against. At least there was a dominant Christian worldview in America during the War for Independence, even though our Founding Fathers were lax in not making this an explicitly Christian nation. But of course, Pastor Swanson can speak for himself. :)
