“ Great Sermon! ”
I enjoy listening to your sermons. Todays sermon was wonderful. I enjoy listening to all of the sermons because you put them to where everyone can understand what is being said. Thank you for letting everyone be able to listen and see the Sunday sermons. Can’t wait till i move down and come to church. Sincerely Charity K

“ Biblical Sound Worship Songs ”
So glad you addressed the issue of “unbiblical romantic love songs” by Hillsong & others in worship- Just one catchy Hillsong sung at church encorages youth to pursue more songs from that group. I beleive the congregation should be informed why you don’t sing those songs- parents are not aware of this and are purchasing for their children...Anyways, thank you for making a stand for “God Honoring Worship” that is doctrinally sound😊

“ Music ”
"While the new hymns were being written and sung throughout England, many American churches and ministers opposed them. Not until well after the middle of the eighteenth century did English hymns achieve a significant place in American worship." That was an article written about how Isaac Watts was criticized for his music. I agree that many songs of those groups are shallow and may not mention "Jesus" enough for you in its lyrics but we should all be careful of condemning as evil when it simply doesn't suit our tastes. Choose what's best for your congregation without giving a blanket accusation of calling someone who truly loves the Lord as heretical. For example, tell me how you like this popular song that has been printed more often than any modern hymn? This is a part of Psalm 140: "For the choir director. A Davidic psalm. 9 When those who surround me rise up, may the trouble their lips cause overwhelm them. 10 Let hot coals fall on them. Let them be thrown into the fire, into the abyss, never again to rise. 11 Do not let a slanderer stay in the land. Let evil relentlessly hunt down a violent man." How popular was that? Song in a choir.
