God the Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, spoke to the prophets and apostles, breathing into them His Holy word; His message to mankind, so that we could gain a saving knowledge of His love, mercy, and grace toward His people.
God's complete message is contained in the Old and New Testaments which were written by those prophets and apostles. Anything read or taught that is contrary to, or denies God's Holy word is false information.
As we examine our text for today, we will see two main things: the undeniable and unsurpassed truth and glory of God in the Lord Jesus Christ, and the absolute truth about all men; our deep need for God in Jesus Christ.
