The reminder and caution is for those helping to not become prideful, condescending or deceived into thinking they are spiritually above the person being restored. God puts people in positions by means of relationships in the body to be involved in the restoration and bearing the burdens that the one being restored is carrying. This position as burden-bearer has accountability to God who has divinely assigned this work of service in the body of Christ.
