Thirdly, the safeguard of the Scriptures. (v.16-17)
May the Lord grant us that we may truly study the word of God and use it for our strengthening in the inner man. May we train our children well! And children, this message is for you too. Do not neglect your catechism and bible-reading. The Word of God is able to make you wise unto salvation in Christ. And may we also remember those who have gone ahead of us—how they suffered and yet persevered on for the glory of Christ. Amen.
