A nugget about what Caiaphas said (John 11:49-53). Always remember, what the enemy meant for evil, God meant it for good. No weapon formed against us ever works out the way the enemy intended. Glory be…
We get to find those whom He came to find.
"And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, 'You know nothing at all, nor consider that it is expedient (beneficial) for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.' Now this he did not say on his own (his own business initiative): but being high priest that year, he prophesied (God spoke through him, though he did not know God had spoken. And what he meant for evil God meant it for good (Acts 3:17-26; 4:27) that Jesus should die for that nation. And not for that nation only, but that Jesus should also gather together in one the children of God (sheep, His bride, those given by the Father) that were scattered abroad (including all believers of all time)." (John 11:49-52)
He's talking about me and all who have and will be called and saved by Jesus.
And listen to how this works… we get to be part of this work of the Shepherd who uses His sheep to find His sheep. He shepherds us to find His lost sheep.
He used His sheep to find us and will use us to find His sheep. As He said… follow Me and I'll make you fishers of men (sheep finders).
