We need to ask several questions to first set the stage for the discussion: 1) Is wine in the Bible the same as wine today? Is wine absolutely necessary today as it was in Bible times? And, does drinking wine fit into what is best when we understand God's desire for us to live in holiness and excellence? As we answer those questions from Scripture, as the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, we also need to remember Paul's admonition from Romans 14:13, "Let us not judge one another anymore..."
