Is talk of glory just idealism for us sinners? Not at all. A human being is 'crowned with glory and honour', and everything else in the creation is placed under our control. Glory is linked with our being created in the image of God and the Bible makes it clear that God still regards us as his image. He insists that we see our neighbour as made in his image too. We fall short of the glory in so many ways, but God refuses to see us as less than his image. This is our problem, but it is also our hope, that God refuses to see us as less than we are.
