As the One sent by God, Jesus Christ is the Apostle of what those who are saved believe. As the High Priest of believers He made the sacrifice that paid the penalty for sin and propitiated God's wrath against sin, by His offering of Himself as that sacrifice. His ultimate and perfect sacrifice was made once and for all. Drawing attention to the contrast between Christ and Moses the point is made that both were found faithful in doing God's work. Christ however is worthy of more glory being the Son over the house of God's people. This in contrast to Moses who was faithful as a servant in the household of God's people. The exhortation follows that will be developed that God's people must stay focused on Christ to stay their course and likewise be found faithful in doing God's will.
