Competition drives economies and makes products affordable for all consumers. Modern day flirtations with socialism and governmental coercion are both un-Christian and disastrous. Capitalism is rooted in liberty, where the consumers determine which businesses fail and succeed, based on what they buy. Work is a good thing, when done in moderation. The lazy will destroy themselves, as will the workaholic. Jesus encouraged both work and rest. Life must be governed by both.
