Solomon bemoaned the oppression he saw in his day. Oppression is the unjust use of force on another person, or group. Today, many people claim to be oppressed when they really aren't. And many politicians who claim to speak out against oppression are the biggest oppressors of all. This is most clearly seen in expanded abortion laws that allow babies to be murdered, even while being born. Evil politicians who support such practices are oppressing the most defenseless people in our society. Likewise, modern calls to help the so-called oppressed poor through Socialism, ignore the historical death tolls that Socialism always brings about. Who are really oppressed? And who are the real oppressors? This message addresses these questions, among others.
