Re: scared (comment above) While you shouldn't walk around paralyzed from fear, it's good to be shaken and woken up about deception. The Bible says to be sober minded. If this sermon has shaken you up, it has done its job.
We don't have to be paralyzed with fear, though, because God has given us many tools to fight deception. The Bible, the Holy Spirit, preaching, prayer, etc. Search our sermon archive for "deception" and you'll find some great sermons that might answer your question further.
