Chapters 17 and 18 are an explanation of specific details describing God's full wrath being poured out on Babylon - the city and the kingdom. Chapter 18 reveals the destruction of the actual city of Babylon - the physical, commercial and geographical headquarters of the world. The first eight verses present two angelic messages that boldly declare: (1) the fall of Babylon, with the results and reasons [vv.1-3], and (2) the call to come out of Babylon's sins, with the results and reasons [vv.4-8]. She had led the world into a self-centered luxury that focused on iniquity, immorality and sensuality - her self-confidence was brazen, her self-glory was empty and her self-indulgence was extreme.

Another great sermon Jack does a very good job of explaining the scripture. What did Dana ask in the beginning? What did Carl ask about half way through? There was also a question from the left side that was very unclear. It would be nice to have the questions or comments repeated by Jack or for mics to be given to the questioners. I am sitting here with a fever today watching this, so maybe if I felt better it would not be a big deal.
Thank you for doing the research and back ground for the study.
