All things work together for good. Now the question that I'm often asked, does this mean my own personal acts of sin, and I believe we have to be careful not to go beyond what the scripture does. The sinful acts of other people in my life, that affect my life, are obviously included here. My own personal acts of sin are included within the plan of God and do not frustrate the plan of God. But I do not believe, in light of what the scriptures says, that this verse is focusing on my personal acts of sin. They won't frustrate God's plan for me for good. But I want to be very, very careful here that I don't slide into a position that allows me to be comfortable with my sin. All you have to do is read the life of a man like David and the grief and heartache that was brought to his life because of his own personal acts of sin. For you see I'm accountable and responsible for that. I have control over that in the power of the Spirit.
