1 God Will Judge His Unfaithful People -The two threatened judgments were -A swarm of locusts -Destruction by fire and evaporation of water -Because of disobedience - Sin -GOD does not change -therefore He will still judge his disobedient people today
2 GOD Adjusts and Sometimes Averts Judgment in Response to Intercessory Prayer -This shows the power of prayer -Notice that Amos prays for the forgiveness of the peoples' sins
3 GOD Measures His People by His Word -Their uprightness -Their correctness -Their trueness
-In Amos' day GOD's people were not in line -Are they in line today -NO
