“ A first for me! ” Thank you for your sermon this past Lord’s Day. I will have to say that it was the first time I have ever heard, from the pulpit, what I believe to be the right explanation for Jephthah’s vow and his actions regarding his only child when she came out to meet him after his return from the battle with the Ammonites. To think that God would accept a human sacrifice for whatever reason is beyond imagination, not to mention that he was listed in the great cloud of witnesses in Hebrews 11. Keep up the good work sir and God bless you greatly.
