Christians are not exempt from times of anxiety and worry, but in this address by Pastor Taylor we are given scriptural reasons why to worry overmuch is needless. Indeed it can sap our strength, keep us from prayer, and even show a lack of faith in what God can do. The very pace of life can increase the tendency to worry, especially as so many in our present age live 'only for the moment'. We can take confidence that the Word of God reminds us that God has indeed promised, in whatever condition we find ourselves, that He will "never leave us or forsake us".
