This life is no 50-yard dash. This is a long distance marathon. We know not where our path may lead us, or where our Christian race may end, but we are compelled to press on. We know now how long it may be, how hard or how steep the path may get, but run. Run hard, run long…if you stumble and fall, as we all do…get up and go again. This race is not without its hindrances. Not all of our pathways are just alike. God has been pleased, at least for this time, to join our paths as we head toward the Celestial City, but we know not how long these paths may intertwine nor how long our individual path may be.
