One of the disarming things about the Judaizers is they claim to believe the gospel. According to Acts 15 they said that you also had to keep the Mosaic Law, which Paul said ended up really being a denial of the gospel. And one of the things that happens here is there is the consistent claim they are steeped in the fundamentals of the faith. They make that statement and then they run on to other things. Quite frankly as I read the characteristics of these churches I find they are not steeped in the fundamentals of the faith. In their doctrinal statement it may sound great. But in their practice they have moved away from a doctrinal focus and a doctrinal ministry. And that is just a disarming tactic to enable them to continue to grow and influence. These churches are held together by their methods not their doctrinal statements. The issue is not biblical methods at all . The issue is pragmatism. They are held together by what works.
