One of the childhood games I loved to play was Hide and Seek. One person would close their eyes, count to ten, while the rest would hide. Upon reaching ten, they would cry out 'Ready or not, here I come!' Jesus, in Matthew 24, is speaking to the generation who will be alive during the Great tribulation. They will have witnessed God's wrath poured out on mankind and on their world, plus all of the events that make up the tribulation period. To them, Jesus says to watch, be alert for I am coming back at a time least expected. My second coming will be like in the days of Noah. Life will go on as normal, and then sudden destructive floods came. My second coming will be like a thief in the night. So, you need to be ready for my coming. Ready by repenting of your sins and trusting in Jesus, calling upon the name of the Lord to be saved. For when Jesus returns at His second coming, the age of grace comes to an end. There will be no more opportunity to get right with God. You need to do so today!
